Pre-Requisites
To enrol on this programme, you don’t need any previous experience of roofing.
The most important requirement is a desire to learn.
Learning Method
The course is provided as a series of practical workshop modules. Each module ends with an assessment to ensure you achieve the desired competency that will determine your progress through the course.
This is a progressive course where your ability will improve over each module under the guidance of an experienced and highly qualified tutor.
Practical Workshops
You will be spending your time under instruction at our training centre, to complete the practical modules that make up your programme. Your progress will be discussed formally at the end of each module and you will have the opportunity to discuss in depth any course related issues with an instructor at any time during the course.
Throughout the course you will be building a portfolio of work which will be used as proof of your accomplishments. You will need to provide your own overalls and steel toe-capped working shoes, although these can be provided at cost price should you need them. All necessary tools and materials will be provided.
Course Duration:
1 to 4 Weeks (up to 2 years to complete the course)
Programme Details
The programme comprises practical work which can be completed at your own pace; you decide when you attend, whenever you find it convenient and practical to fit the training within your current schedule.
We take into consideration factors such as your current working hours or other studies you are undertaking.
You tell us...our courses are entirely flexible.
The individual modules have been developed alongside building industry requirements to provide a good understanding of the subject matter in preparation for the working environment.
